Preparations are well underway for the NPSA's 12th Annual Conference & Trade Show, October 5-7, 2014. This conference and trade show follows an incredibly strong Spring Seminar in Montreal and we are eager to once again gather as an association for education, networking and the exchange of ideas. NPSA staff, members, and guests will be making our first visit to Nashville with a stay at the fabulous Opryland Hotel.
If you have never been to Opryland, you will find it to be an absolute marvel. The largest non-casino hotel in the US, it boasts an indoor rainforest, an atrium that is so large you'd swear you were outside and an indoor boat cruise. It is a property that you will never forget. The Opryland is also walking distance to the Grand Ol' Opry as well as one of the largest indoor shopping malls in Tennessee.

The setting will be amazing, as usual, but is incidental to the reason we gather as an association. Those organizations that arm themselves with industry knowledge and are willing to take action toward positive change will have the ability to carry their operation into a successful future. If you want to increase your ability to remain competitive, you need to attend your industry trade show. It is the vehicle to obtain the knowledge that you need to help you strategize, improve operations and make smart decisions to help you compete and win.

Our Speaker Committee has assured us that the educational offerings will once again meet the high standards and expectations of our audience. Our State of the Industry address is the standard upon which many of our members compare other industry data (this year given for the first time by Mobile Mini).
Additionally, our moderated Operators Roundtable presentations are always highly rated and well attended. The Speaker Committee will surround these core presentations with many other educational offerings. These presentations will provide assistance for operators dealing with storage trailers and mobile storage as well as general business information including HR issues, credit/collections, and equipment financing. Some of the unique offerings will include: a historical analysis from Key Bank on our quarterly benchmarking surveys and the trends and conclusions being drawn from that information and an opportunity to receive the QA ‘Supervisors Reasonable Suspicion' certification required by the DOT for all driver supervisors.
