The beginning of the year is always an exciting time, and for many it is also a time to make New Year's resolutions; many of us make commitment to exercise, eat better or get more organized.
This year NPSA is starting 2015 with some resolutions of our own: our billing cycle is changing to a calendar year basis, changes in our structure and a great new attitude.
That being said, this year, for the first time ever, we are having our NPSA Conference and Tradeshow in the spring from May 3-5! And we can't wait to see everyone once again in Las Vegas at the Paris Casino Convention Center. In this issue of the NPSA Magazine, we plan on focusing on companion businesses.
For those who don't know what a companion business is, it's where businesses that complement each other join to sell their products or services - for instance, a container company that pairs with a portable dumpster company for clients who may need one or both items. In the end, the point of companion businesses is to enhance profit and further business prospects for companies. Essentially they help businesses grow together.
Just a reminder - Crab Feast 2015 will be in August and held in Baltimore, Maryland; and our Resale Expo will be the 17th and 18th of September in New Orleans, Louisiana.
If you are like me, you like to save a little money, and here's an easy way you can accomplish that. For a limited time, we're offering existing members $300 off their membership fees or a credit for a spouse to attend one of our conferences for every new member they've referred.
